Mac revenue tracking for indie developers
Track Stripe and RevenueCat revenue on your Mac.
OtterTally brings supported Stripe and RevenueCat reporting into a native Mac app, with a quick menu-bar view and a dashboard for subscription insights, activity, and revenue context.
A revenue overview that stays readable
Check revenue by reporting period and source, then see how the current period compares.
- Choose Today, Last 7 days, This month, or This year.
- View Stripe, RevenueCat, or eligible combined totals with provider and currency context.
- See Stripe available and pending balances separately from sales.
- Use the menu bar for a quick period summary, or open the full dashboard for more detail.
Two reporting connections
Bring your supported revenue sources into one Mac app while keeping their data clearly identified.
- Connect RevenueCat through OAuth with read-only reporting access; no API key paste is required.
- Connect one or more Stripe accounts using restricted keys stored in your Mac’s Keychain.
- Choose which projects or accounts to show and include in totals.
- Keep currencies and provider definitions distinct when figures cannot be safely combined.
Insights with useful context
Explore a focused set of subscription and sales metrics, with simple and advanced views.
- Review MRR, ARR, revenue, subscribers, trials, customers, churn, and period movement.
- Open advanced metrics such as LTV, trial conversion, and refund rate where the selected source provides enough data.
- See when a value is estimated, unavailable, or provider-specific instead of having gaps filled with guesses.
- Activity and Insights are Premium features.
Activity and purchase alerts
Keep recent payment and subscription activity close to your revenue summary.
- Browse a combined feed of Stripe payments and refunds and RevenueCat events.
- Filter activity by provider and event status, and load more Stripe payment results.
- Enable native macOS purchase notifications and adjust alerts by account or project.
- Choose whether purchase alerts play a sound.
Local data and privacy controls
Your reporting archive and provider credentials are managed on your Mac.
- Provider credentials and RevenueCat grants are stored in Keychain.
- Cached reporting data is encrypted locally and can be shown offline with its freshness.
- Export a readable copy of local data, or use Forget this Mac to remove local credentials, reports, and session data.
- Provider reporting data is not synchronized through OtterTally’s servers.
Account, setup, and settings
Set up the app at your pace and manage account and device preferences in one place.
- Create an account with email or Google sign-in, recover access, and manage your license.
- Skip setup and return to it later from Account.
- Configure the menu-bar reporting period, login behavior, and notification preferences.
- Submit a bug report in the app, copy it, or open it in your email or macOS sharing flow.
